In video games such as Smash Brothers or even Mario Kart, it is easier to just drop a very diverse roster of characters and make them work together through competition. It will also set up language in which characters can blend in together. Movie’s release will not only define the Nintendo cinematic universe in terms of success. In the end, the truth is that The Super Mario Bros. DK’s island might be a planet away from Dreamland, but the pink blob is known for intergalactic travel, and crashing by accident would perfectly work as an excuse to show audiences what’s next.
